Thanks . . . that looks great -- I like the matching red/white combo.

Now you've got me wanting one.

A motorcycle camper is hard to beat if you're camping with a MINI. Lots of storage inside them, room to stand up, and super easy to tow.

one more?
I am looking for a camping spot for just me... and My MINI. I can cook, clean, do windows... and could use a few feet of space to sleep in. Lemme know if you want to share some MOTD space... though it is sounding like Fontana is turning into Woodstock.
Thanks!

Me and my brother are in space #18 it has water, electric and a shelter and is right across the road from the bathrooms. Everyone is welcome to stop by and use the shelter, water or elec and to hang out or get out of the sun..or rain.
See ya soon, Ocean

We enjoyed meeting you folks, too. *No* worries about space.. From what I read on the list, it would be crowded. In our spot (17) we could have had 10 Minis and camping gear..
Saturday night was cosmic when the fog rolled in, and the tree frogs, spring peepers, and toads started hooting it up..

Aprilwhine, I did not get a chance to tell you and your husband thanks before I headed back home. Your hospitality was great, Thanks alot. I have already reserved a camping spot for next year. I do however plan to bring a better tent and maybe even the wife.

Thanks Daniel

We loved just hanging out with everyone, I'm sorry we can't drag the trailer next year. But we plan on stopping by in the evenings, can't beat telling lies around a campfire.

I enjoyed the camping at Fontana too, and especially appreciated the help that Chuck and Dorcia provided in setting up my tent!

Camping was terrific.

For those reserving spots for next year, Jeff (GP0948) and I were discussing reserving all three RV sites (with the shelters, water, and power hookups) and then getting 10-12 groups to share. There is more than enough tent space, and we could get the cost down to $6 per night or so.

I'll bring more breakfast foods if that is the case, the pancakes worked out really well!

Thanks to everyone for the hospitality, Yumyumdriver for the car wash hose, Aprilwhine for the extension cord (and cookie!) and everyone else who hung out.

(I hope my snoring didn't wake anyone up.....)

Great. Stay tuned. Jeff is in Germany for a while, and I still have to 100% convince my wife that camping is the way to go next year. She's definitely coming next year.

Thanks Jeff for not killing my cat. She was looking for her mama and put paw prints on the wrong GP. She really loved camping, it was the major kitty adventure of the year for a spoiled house cat.

I will plan for next year Thursday -Sunday. Hope for sunny weather, but the rain did not really bother me to much. Drying my stuff out did not take long. I just hope Jeff figured out away to keep from leaving the wets in the GP for a month.

That's a great idea. Those three spots could really become the party spot at Fontana!
I would definitely be up for the shared spaces. Not for the cost savings, but more for the fun. Campsite #12 was a little too remote for us this year (too far from the action.) That would also allow us to coordinate what we bring to help build the camp...

I'm not sure if my brother Mike will make it next year or not, but if he doesn't I'll be sure to bring the Bloody Mary's in his stead...

Nice meeting y'all (said in my best southern accent)...

-Ed

Excellent Bloody Marys!!! Definately sharing sites is the way to go, they had plenty of space!!! And next year, I think I'll skip the sheet under the tent, It is no fun waking up with a wet backside

So have any of you reserved the spots we were talking about? Should I?

I would be happy to make the reservation if it hasn't been done yet.

Thanks,
Ed
