Question Side Window Shades

Hi all,

Just picked up my first Mini, a '25 Cooper S 2-door. Since the fold down window shades are so small and don't do much on the driver's side to block sun, what do y'all do? Is there an aftermarket options that work well, or just rely on window tint?

Cool

Good question, since MINI should have kept the previous flip down shade. I'll be following this.

Wonder if the old F56 ones would work? They do share a bunch of stuff on the F66.

Looks like ECS has the part too? https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...i/51167376859/ How is your return policy if it doesn't fit?

Hello,

Just call in or process a return through your account if it does not fit. I would measure screw to screw first and go from their, i can pull that one side and measure it.

Thanks
Mike

The left clip defeated me without better trim tools (or skill) so the best measurement I could get for now is from opening to opening of the clip in lock, which is ~ 148-149mm. I'll try to get it all the way out for a better measurement, and hopefully a part number visible.

Thanks! I placed an order, so I'll report back when it arrives and try it out.

So close.... the clips line up, but the hinge supports don't fit within the recess that holds the grab handle...

The outside of the clips, where the hinges are stop the handle from going deep enough in the recess of the metal body to clip in. The hinges need to be on the inside of the clip to work or they need to be moved 'above' the clip to give the clearance necessary.
