sndwave... why not make it 14? You're not on the list...

I know your past concerns about not getting anything of substance for the $5... but this year is different... basic registrations do receive:
  • professional quality event registration badge, with your name, NAM username, Motoring ID (if you have one for your MINI), city & state of origin, and registration number.
  • program guide
  • raffle ticket for prize drawings
So it really isn't such a bad deal after all. Why not be included in the count?

Edited... but remember, that was also the start of a sentence, so proper grammar would have dictated a capital S anyway.

Note to everyone though - as I've been processing the registration list, I have been cross-checking each and every person's NAM username against the NAM database, and correcting the case to match exactly what NAM has. So even if someone typed capital letters for their username when they registered, but their NAM username was all lower case, I have changed it to match NAM. And vice versa, of course.

Not when someone specifically has lowercase as their official spelling of a name.

After tomorrow night/early Friday morning, I will be offline until after MOTD. You'll have to ask someone else to change the thread title, if needed.

! person just backed out of the Dragon. He/She ordered a decal for the Motoring ID, but can't make it. Is anyone keeping track of the deletions or is that being just negative and the glass is half empty thinking? Is anyone tracking MINI registrations? Like, there are 2 of us registered, but just one MINI. I have tried to convince my SO that she really needs a convertible MCS, but she hasn't gone for it yet. Give me an E for effort.

All cancellations that were done before the refund deadline were deleted and removed from the registration list. However, all notifications afterwards that people weren't coming are still on the list... and a badge will still be printed, etc.

I estimate 468 MINIs/Minis currently in the registrations - this is based upon the number of unique registrations, and ignoring the "extras" when people bought more than one registration. Some people have dropped out, and some couples bought two registrations together, but are both bringing MINIs... so that number is probably a reasonable estimate, especially when you include those cheapskates who decided $5 wasn't worth it, but will pay for the gas to come anyway.

Two more people (completely separate) registered since that post... so my estimate is now 470 MINIs
