something. I'll have printed directions for all, so if some people want to leave early or

Welcome to Dillsboro, NC - Population 200.
A quaint 19th century railroad town on the banks fo the Tuckaseigee River.
In may ways, Dillsboro has changed very little over the past century. Dillsboro proper is still a walking town, just two block long, sprinkled with pristine white houses, rustic old shops, galleries, restaurants and quint country inns. And it's still a railroad town, where a old fashion steam train carries passengers on scenic excursions along the Tuckaseigee. Even the general store is still here, complete with the original hardwood floors, ceiling fans and soda fountain.
The Jarrett House, established in 1884, is a beautiful bed and breakfast inn, complete with Victorian style furnishings. As a historic inn and restaurant they are most well know for their family style dining and their huge home cooked meals, first made famous by Miss Sallie Jarrett and still continuing today. Special features of the menu include trout and chicken, homemade biscuits and homemade old-fashion pies.

This is what the Dragon is all about. People just show up and put cool things together.
That said, be sure to put a limit on the number of registrants you will accept. If you try to run more than about 20 cars at once, you risk problems. One solution is to schedule staggered starts.

Dillsboro is VERY charming! A group of us took the Smoky Mountain Steam Train there after the MOTD-2004...really a great ride!
