Hi everyone.

I was able to register for the MOTD event today. I was wondering if anybody could accomodate me. I have a baby on the way, and I'm trying to save money. Or if push comes to shove, I'll sleep in my car, and if somebody could allow me to use their bathroom to shower. I'd greatly appreciate it.

Resume: I'm a staff sergeant in the Air Force. I'm very quiet and you'll never know I'm there. I can sleep on the floor somewhere if I have to.

We've rented a 3/2 "Creekside Cabin" that is about 9 miles from Fontana in Stecoah (east on 28 toward Robbinsville) for 4 nights. My brother-in-law was supposed to join us, but his plans changed.
We'd be willing to share some or all the nights at our cabin with anyone who is willing to share their cabin time with a couple of non-smoking "old-farts" that want to kick back and enjoy the tranquility of the NC mountains when not tackling the Tail of the Dragon. (Sipping a fine Scotch on the deck is a requirement for all guests!)

i finally got a room at san-ran motel. it's on us129 by pass. shouldn't be too far. for those of you who still looking for place to stay you can try there... it's a little concern to me that THEY STILL HAVE PLENTY OF ROOM LEFT...hmm...weird.

yes. it's near the Microtel Inn and the philips motel, should be many MINI around that area too. When I booked my room at san-ran, they still have plenty of room left, for ppl who still need a place to stay, call them. it's only $55/nit. so far i know there's 3 MINI will be stayin at san-ran.

 

I'm at the Phillips...anyone know anything about it?

 

Yeah stayed there for a night last year...real homey...& safe.
My experience was a good one.

Good to hear! We were able to get a room there also, but have not heard much of anything about the place. That's 3 more people at the Phillips (2 cars...)

Beds taken. Special guest staying in my room. Hint Hint.

I have a room at Fontana Inn and have a spare bed. I think it is $65 a night. It's a non-smoking room. If you want to split the room the beds yours. And towels too. Had a few people going in the beginning , now one bed is free. I have the room for Thursday through Saturday night. Im getting up to Fontana around 11am Thurs morning.
Pm me back. I work third may take a little bit on the reply. I don't snore and get along well with others.

 

I just cancelled a single room at the Microtel in Robbinsville. So if anyone needs it, it's open
