Swap meet?

As much as we like to trade parts amoungst ourselves, what about having a swap meet during one of the afternoons at the Dragon?

[tap] [tap] [tap] ... is this thing on?

Guess I am the only one who likes the idea or even has an opinion?

Go here https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/motd-home click on contact us and submit your idea. Somebody has to organize and set it up.

Good luck

Thanks for the info. I was just throwing it out there as an idea. I have been to quite a few events simular to the Dragon and the swap meets were usually pretty popular at them. Good chance to sell some of those things collecting dust in the garage or buy some parts first hand and not worry about shipping or tax. From the response (or lack of), it doesn't sound like anyone really wants one, so no reason to waste the time setting it up.

Between my camping gear for the backpacking trip I'm taking before the Dragon, to the beer I'm bringing down to swap, to the guitar and amp and cooler and folding chair and kickball for four-square and everything else, I for one will not have much room for any swappables! I assume this is the reason for the tepid response...

Agree. Two people, perhaps the pooch & cage, and all the necessaries for an 8-day, 1500-mile excursion, packed into a MINI, leaves room for maybe a card swap.

I agree with Sum Won...it doesn't take much space to bring stuff you might want to get rid of but that might be still valuable to somebody else. I add and delete stuff to my car all the time. While it's practically new, it just sits in my garage now. I'd love an opportunity to clear things out...never know what I might find during the pursuit....
