Maybe we College folk need to make our own event and maybe not @ the dragon. We could start another event eh?

that'd be pretty schweet...except I'm not in college. I'm a sophomore in high school, but it's a boarding school so I guess it counts.

If I may, I'd like to throw Skyline Drive out there as a place. Idk if it's ok to let loose in a national park though...what about lower down on the Blue Ridge Parkway? Very cool places either way.

I've see photos of the Blue Ridge Pkwy, I wanted to drive that road for the twisties before I had my lisence. I have been thinking about attending this, its a weekend in the first 1/2 of June, I think New England roads were designed for the MINI. http://www.minisontop.com/ does anybody else have any ideas or feedback, lets keep this thread alive.

I'd honestly like to keep this at the dragon. This is a very famous stretch of road that I love to drive on. We all would be going to the real dragon, however we just cant make it! I think we should have our own, and plus it could serve as practice for the real thing! (Ive never run the road before..)

MINI's On Top is a good time. A Lot of people go (like 200 or so last year I think) but it was fun. Weather was kinda crappy, it rained and was misty, but the roads are fun!

I think the Dragon would be great, but then New Hampshire wouldn't be nearly as crowded

We could still do a dragon event, I guess I'd like to request that the date fall in the 2nd half of June or later then, and if anyone is heading to another event, could they start another thread to perhaps meet up and caravan to that event

This country is big isn't it? To think of a place with nice roads and lodging would still require most of us to drive a ways.

8 hrs is nothing for me!!!

im not so sure if i really want to go, its gonna be a 4 day weekend and im not so sure if i can take off for work, not only that, i was planning two track schools this year, i cannot add the dragon as another road trip as the added expense is... ALOT...

so its either 1track school, and dragon with you guys, or 2 track schools

looking at work calender, and thinking about it, that's 40 hours vacation time right there.

Why not (again) do it a Thurs through Sunday? i don't want to lose 40 hours when i could lose only 16.
