Question for those whom already made reservations at Fontana for 2006
4th Annual MINIs on the Dragon (2006)Ready to take your turn trying to tame the Dragon? Learn all about what will likely be one of the largest MINI gatherings in 2006.
I have my reservation at the Inn. This will be my first time at the dragon too!! Looking forward to meeting all you guys and seeing what everybody's talking about!
Thanks for all the help on and off the board everyone! It looks like I'll be sharing some space with (along with a few guys from Chicago) some folks from Denver. Big thanks to Jonathan for the offer!
Got a cabin, this is our first trip to the Dragon and we are looking forward to it . My husband has a dilema though, he is expecting to have a new superbike by then and wants to ride both , of course at different times, has anybody pulled any trailers with their mini? Please don't slam me against the wall, but we were wondering why we couldn't or shouldn't pull the motor behind the mini, any suggestions?

The author of this thread was very, very helpful and wrote a page or two reply to my PM. I think he wrapped the reply into a post farther down in the thread.

I have seen a Cooper (non S ) pulling a HOG on a bike trailer, you just need to fine a MINI hitch
Got mine, a " Rustic Cabin " or rusted cabin????? Oh well I'm in
John
Don't worry, DaCrema. . . "Rustic" only means no air conditioning (unnecessary at this time of year) and lots of spiders (just kidding, only bringing up a silly topic from the past!)

The rust comment goes more to the age of the cabin I will be staying in. I had a shot at a nicer room (one of their time shares I think) but for JUMPED offer of a cabin. The other room did have AC, TV and a phone but no kitchen. Hay I'm there on vacation and you say telephone! We don't need no Stickin Tell-E'-fon. On a more level headed note, I visited several cabins last year and liked the idea of a kitchen. As I am getting there early (the second) I wanted a place I could cook a little pasta. BBQ is good but not every night. The restaurant was good as well - but again not every night for a week.
The fact that the other room cost more had nothing to do with my choice .... well .... errrr.... that's my story and I'm sticking with it.
I'm ready for a break. Look forward to seeing you and everyone again.
John
I just noticed on Fontanna's site, under Cabin's & Kitchenette's, only 1 cabin claims to have a 'full kitchen'. All the rest just list 'kitchen utensils'. What does that mean? No fridge, no cooking range?
