Count me and my girlfriend in for FRESH FRUIT.... she loves to eat it, I'm more inclined to get my hydration from beer and liquor!

its a joke, people.....

any recommendations besides "watermelon and grapes?" she eats apples, bananas, stuff like that, but I don't see people going for larger items that take up a lot of their plates when they could be eating MORE CHILI!!!! hah

You could combine your two tastes and bring a Vodka Watermelon. Yummy! Nothing like a little compromise.

Another great idea (sorry for going slightly Off Topic), is a tequila watermelon! Ai yai yai! Put a melon on its side, cut a nice opening in the top, maybe 2.5 - 3 inches in diameter. Remove some of the melon, take a spoon or other implement, and poke into the inside of the watermelon, liquefying it a bit. Pour a bottle of tequila into it! Let it sit a spell! Back in the day, we just passed out straws.......not that hygienic, but FUN!

Margie and I will bring a case of beer, unless there's too much offered already. (HAH! I slay myself! )

M. Max, the W.M.W.D., won't share his dog biscuits, so he gets no chili.

Tried this a minute ago but it got lost in cyberspace I think. Put us down for Texas Caviar (Jalapeno black-eyed peas, avacado, onion, and some other stuff--- no fish eggs:smile: ) Can be used as a dip or a side dish. Probably some Diet Cokes also.
