I swear, I'm still dizzy from the run that my brother and I made. Not to mention trying to grow back my fingernail.

But, it was a blast. I can't wait to see the teams compete next year if there is a race.

I am brewing some ideas for next year's race. Thinking of maybe having leagues... like an under 18 league along with an adult league. If so desired I can make a Men's and Women's league... but I really don't see the need to.

Rabbot was filming the event, she got every run on film except for Whalen's second run. Once I figure out how to get the movies from the MiniDV to the computer (gotta buy some cords and software) I'll figure out a way to make it available to people.
You should have seen at the bonfire (campfire!) party, before the Mdnight-on-the-Dragon, somebody was TOWING someone around the rec center parking lot on a Bone. He was holding a torch made of paper. Mute testimony to the durability of the Bone, because any other creeper would have lost its' wheels.

I can fix your vids if you like, onto a PC and/or DVD. I have several ways to do this.

I only wish the larger models would fit in the car - I'd have brought an assortment!

I'll get the video going sometime soon.-

I think the 1/2 Wits were the ONLY ones prepared THIS year! We even had a "sponsor", thanks Miller!

Full-finger length gloves are almost a must... I still have the scars from our run.

Custom-Edge rules!

The question is, are we disqualified from a repeat attempt next year? Of course, that would also beg the question on what to do with a second creeper.

Those who raced this year will be allowed to race race next year. Suggestions for those who plan on racing next year would be to find someone with a Bone-ster, Bone or Rough Rider creeper and practice practice practice! Other creepers don't roll as well, and get hung up on things, hence the reason ours are the best! (Shameless plug, teehee).

It was the 5% grade sideways on the parking lot that really got us. Get your partner around the cone (up the grade) and then make that turn and off they go down the hill! That will be tough to replicate in practice. I am thankful we had the hand protection, and the heat reisistant ones I was wearing came in really useful when we had pizza later!

Mmmm ... pizza ...
