First Annual Creepin' on the Dragon!
Hello all!
I'd like to announce a new event to the Dragon this year - a creeper race!
I got the idea from a VW club meet I heard of where different creepers were used in races, and one of ours won. Figured it would be fun to continue the theme.
The idea is simple - there will be 16 teams of 2 people each. One person rides the creeper and helps steer while the other pushes them through a slalom of cones and back, then quickly swap places and do one more lap. They will be competing against another team - whichever team finishes first wins. Simple!
Winning teams will compete against each other until only 2 teams remain. Those two teams will each get one Bone-ster (TM) creeper per person. For info on the creepers please visit www.bonecreeper.com.
The event will take place at 6:30 PM on Friday right outside the Rec Hall where the Chili Cook-off will be held. I expect this to take approximately 30 minutes.
It costs nothing to enter - but spaces are limited, so enter soon! Be sure to use your NAM username and the NAM username of the person you want as a teammate (with their permission of course!). You can enter via the link below:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...per&eventid=28
A final disclaimer:
Dale Adams Enterprises, Inc. - "The Bone" - is not responsible for any images or damages sustained by this race. Understand that by signing up you are racing at your own risk.
But honestly, you'd really have to try to hurt yourself doing this!
Please direct any and all questions/comments to me at president@minineo.org
We will also be giving out a 5th Bone-ster at the raffle, and I will have order forms and fliers with me for those interested in the product. We'll be offering a 10% discount with free shipping.

This does sound like fun! Big Jimmy you still looking for a team mate? But how BIG are you? I am only about 5'3" and 140, I dont want to hurt myself pushing a 7' 300# man on a creeper! I could see me going back to work (or not going back to work) telling my boss what happened. He would NOT think it is funny. Then I could show him some pics and would. No, really, if you are looking for a team mate, sign us up! I will bring my elbow pads and bicycle helmet!
