How about?

Stele's Scooters?

Or, if your name that you made for us is better, I'll take that. I just was thinking of this name because it would irritate my brother to wear that name, hehe.

Umm, to risk sounding like Stallone... You talking to me?

If you're of the feminine variety (so hard to tell on here - well, maybe not about me, but...), I was thinking "Unmanned" LOL... but I'm flexible.

Oh sorry, no. I was talking about the name for my team. I had never submitted a name and he asked for us to post them before 5pm so he could make the nametags.

If Steels Scooters signs up, and NekoWoman finds a teammate in the next 87 minutes, I won't have to use the nametags with the word "*******" on them! Hurry hurry!

Neko, even if you can't find a teammate, pick a name and sign up, you can probably find someone on the spot at the Dragon.

I've actually already signed up. So keep one of those ****** tags. I just wasn't sure if I had chosen a team name when I signed up. Now I've looked at the list of attendees and I see that we're signed up as Davis Racing.
Sorry for that confusion.

And "Unmanned" makes it in the nick of time!

If a 16th team signs up, then they get a ****** tag.

See ya'll tomorrow!

Fastest ADULT, driving age team:

Custom-Edge

And I have the scarred hands and creeper to prove it!

The fastest team though was "Taekwondo Boys" or something like that - two young whipper-snappers (teens) who used their much lighter weight and youthful energy to full advantage... taking the crown by a full 3 seconds. Good thing that the second place team got creepers too.

Now if I could just trade in the Creeper to eliminate that darn ticket I got from an NC State Trooper on the way to the Dragon... there's a very good REASON I chose to return home via Tennessee!

A great event! I didn't know exactly how I was going to do it until about 10 minutes before it started, so I think it went over pretty well.

I am brewing some ideas for next year's race. Thinking of maybe having leagues... like an under 18 league along with an adult league. If so desired I can make a Men's and Women's league... but I really don't see the need to.

Rabbot was filming the event, she got every run on film except for Whalen's second run. Once I figure out how to get the movies from the MiniDV to the computer (gotta buy some cords and software) I'll figure out a way to make it available to people.

Taekwondo Boys RULE!!!!

I just wanted to say that i had an awsome time last week, it was alot of fun, but the creeper race kick super but.

Me and my brother won this race by 3 secs over custom-edge hehehe
and were not no whipper-snappers..... and about chnaging the division for next year, the only reason why i could see the change is because that would take me and my brother out of the adult playing feild, leaving custom-edge with the tital for next year....

The taekwondo boys, isnt a very good name... after all my father picked it for us, but when it comes down to the compition names don't really matter, now does it

The taekwondo boys will come back next year to defent the heavy-wieght creeper champions of the mini world... ehhehhhe

But overall the race was amazing, it was very hard for some people to control the creeper, but when it came to push to shove, i had to push my 400 pound 11 year old borther around the cones and back over the finish line...

With a combined wieght of 220 pounds me and my brother make an unstopable team... which "may" lead us to our new team name the unstopables

Suggestion for next year... make knocking a cone over a 2 second penalty (like autocross!), not just 1. I even joked with Chris at the event that a team could completely ignore the cones up and back, just knock them ALL over in a straight line (both directions), and still end up with a good time since you could do that very quickly! Of course they'd be booed like nobody's business... heh.

Running straight through would mean an instant disqualification, as it's not slaloming.

If Paul and I went last, that was EXACTLY what we were going to do! We didn't want to give the kids any ideas though...

12 second penalty + 30 second overall time = VICTORY!

Thanks Chris... I was meaning to get around to this... BTW, you don't need to abbreviate NekoWoman here... (I am WOMAN, hear me roar! FYI, if you don't get that joke, I'm too old! ) Maryland just had some funny idea that I was only allowed 8 characters on my plates
