I've been in contact with a number of newspapers and television stations regarding the event. I suspect we'll have a bit of coverage during the event

As for 800 MINIs I think we would need a bigger location...they certainly wouldn't all fit in Fontana :smile:

We'll have to find out about the Miata turnouts. The gals at Tapoco Lodge told me back at the first MINI Dragon GTG in 2003 that they'd parked hundreds of Miatas in their lot. Maybe Lois (LouieFromStLou) knows?

I remember hearing that the Miatas had topped 500+... still, last year there was a MINI everywhere you looked, and I think the current count is close to double what last year was..
