Welcoming Dinner

Do you have to pay for the tickets in advance? I plan to leave Southern Maryland in the morning and don't know if we can make it there by six. If one does not have to pay in advance, then sign me up for two tickets. Looking forward to the Dragon. The roads are too short around here!!!!!

Hi, studtke! Welcome to NAM and I'm posting the link here to the Welcome Dinner. Please read the first post above, where it says reservations will be accepted until April 1.

Even if you don't arrive exactly at 6 PM, food should be available until 7 or 7:30. If you leave early in the AM from Maryland, you'll make it to Fontana in plenty of time!

Thanks for your interest!

There's a caravan leaving from Centreville VA at 7:30 expected to arrive at Fontana by 5:30. You're welcome to join up with us. Details are over in the DCMM Forum here on NAM. Additional information about the meeting point will be posted in about a week or so...

As far as liquor goes if you bring it with you just make sure it is in an unopened container or in the boot.

Reservations for the Welcome Dinner now stand at 266! If you haven't yet bought your dinners, please do so for a tasty meal, a HUGE party, and to support our important cause: the Ryen Neal Fund.

Just saw the MKO Limited Edition Magnets....they look GREAT! And you get one with each paid dinner!

All of you procrastinators out there, time is running out. Let’s get signed up for the Welcome Dinner. I know there must be five more people who need to sign up.

The Dam Room is in the Adventure Center, where Dragon registration will also take place. Here is the tentative Welcome Dinner Schedule (subject to change):
  • 4:00 PM MKO begins Dinner set-up
  • 5:00 PM Doors open for Dinner seating
  • 6:00 PM Dinner Service begins
  • 7:00 PM Announcements

Per mbabischkin, parking arrangements have been made with Fontana Village management to use the nearby ball field.

The final head-count is 313! WOW!

**Make that 315!!!**
