I think that was just a preemptive defense. Every time mini-rolls mentions his kits, some wiseass chimes in with some variation on "Do you think I'm an idiot? Why would I pay you $xx for five little pieces that I could buy myself at an electronics store for 75 cents?" And then we all have to stroke their ego by affirming that not everyone has their stunning, savant-like knowledge of electronic circuitry.

Am I the only one here that enhanced their turn signals instead of brake lights? I am virtually always allowed over when they get a load of my 2-tone signals.

My increased brightness high beams and higher wattage than normal rally lights encourage people to get over too

I love those photon particle beam weapons, don't you? When Paul drives my car at night, I have to remind him to "turn on the weapons, honey".

I would be intrested in a kit that would use a capacitor or the like to achieve and alternating blink between the turn lamp and fog lamp.

Do it Yourself rear brake light enhancement? Newbie

Is there a simple way for a newbie to enhance the rear brake light experience to decrease probability of being rear ended?

Brake Light Mod.

Twister,

I have a 2002 MCS and would be willing to help you folks in exchange for getting the modification done to my car. I'm at the microtel, but would be happy to come to the Fontana for the job. Steve S from Atlanta

I just want to say thanks for al the nice MINI owners I met while doing their brake light mod. Please keep in touch.

If anyone needs a set of diodes just PM me. I have a few sets left. I just ask that you send me a stamped & addressed padded envelope that can hold them.

Thanks Twister! Love having my butt burning like a fire-fly when I'm stopping! Really handy in cases like that fog you ordered up for the caravan up!

Thanks!

Apparently a few folk had a hard time tracking me down despite my best efforts. Next year I will set aside a specific time and set up a 'booth' or area where people can find me instead of me trying to track them down.

I honestly felt lost at times there.

My apologies.

I found you once when we were both stopped in our cars, but never tracked you down after that. I went to RatShack today and got the diode. Your notes and photos from an old string should get me through the rest.
