Which has to beg the question: why isn't the farewell dinner being organized through the same method as everything else? I mean, I'm sure that AtlantaMINIs is a really great club, but couldn't they have worked within your existing system to handle the funding? For example, you guys accepted the payment and forwarded it all on to them.

I don't mean to be a pain, it just seemed... odd.

I've built all of the event planner and management stuff into NAM but it was really up to each club/group whether they utilized the NAM store for handling orders. Atlanta MINIs put on a great dinner last year using the same process as this year so I 'm looking forward to another great evening with them!

This is a nerdy question, but it needs to be asked. I know the cabins have kitchens, but do said kitchens have pots and pans? If not, thats fine.. we can bring one along. Just don't want to pack extra junk!

I'm bringing a veggie-tarian with me and I think she'll be hard pressed to find food.. so she'll have to do some cooking. Not to mention the fact that the thought of my potluck contribution festering in my car for the 10 hour drive has me a little queasy.

Sorry if its already been asked! Thanks!

There are dishes, silverware, glasses and mugs. That I'm positive of.

I'm pretty sure that there is the basics in the cabins for cookware. But if you know you need something in specific, I'd suggest playing it safe and bring it from home.

Also, what isn't provided is things like paper towels and dish soap to clean up said pots and pans --- you'll want to pack that.

hugs,
PB

Is there a place to wash the interstate grime off when I arrive? Sebby will definitely need a bath when I arrive...

I just need a hose & water...

Such a question Did you really think anybody there would let us get away with not having a car wash area set up?

There will be at least 1 car wash area with rags and water available (although you may need to supply you're own soap).

We're working on more locations, but I don't know if that will happen.

I'm bringing about 150 feet of garden hose, half a gallon of basic car wash soap, and a bucket for a car wash station to be set up in front of my cabin.

There are quite a few people from the National Capitol area headed down.

If you're headed down Thursday Morning, there's a caravan meeting at the Starbucks located at 5623 Stone Road in Centreville VA. You're welcome to join us... The details are here:https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...343#post538343

Josh or Jason I think was his name was there from MINI USA. He is the product manager for MINI USA. He spoke after the CHili cookoff and gave away some stuff as well as at the farewell dinner

He was there James, I talked to him on Friday. This was the same person who brought up the Cabrio last year.
