Sorry, the peach cobbler would leak onto your tee shirt and be all gross. And the box would be like the pied piper for all the stray cats in the neighborhood with the catfish inside.

(And do you really won't any of us fellow "slayers" choosing whose chili you get?)

Hugs,

Sure...but no guarantee on the condition that it arrives in or how fresh it may be

Hi- I'm going to be down at the Dragon all week with my motorcycle and my MINI. I am going to register and get a T-shirt. Do I need to pre-register for any of the group drives, or can I just show up? I know that I need to register in advance if I do any of the dinners since the caterer will want to know head count, but didn't know if I had to pre-register the group outings or not. Depending on weather and all, I will be switching between the cycle and the MINI. Too many toys, too many decisions.

It would be appreciated by the various drive organizers if you signed up for the drives you were interested in.

Some of the drives are limited in the number of people who can participate, some of the drives may also include route sheets and other materials for the participants, if you don't sign up there is no guarantee that there will be enough of these items to go around...

One other question I forgot to ask. If I pre-register and order a t-shirt. It noted that we could pick those up at the MOTD gathering. Exactly when and where should we pick those up? Thanks

We're working on the exact location details for the weekend. I'm hoping we can use the registration desk at the Fontana Rec Center. If that is the case we'll have this staffed at several times a day so people can come by when arriving. As soon as we have the details pinned down I'll get them announced here on the site.

Thanks!

Mark, I signed up for the "updates" mailing list but have not received anything on it. I would have expected to receive notification when the new drive was added and when we (finally) got things squared away for the Farewell Dinner.
Is there a problem with that functionality?

Pete,
I haven't sent out any emails yet as I needed to get a couple of other things moving forward. At the maximum I'll send one email per week. Given this you'll probably see the first one late this week. In the meantime be sure to watch the Latest News area on the MOTD home page.

Thanks!

I signed up for the farewell dinner and it has been charged to my credit card, but on the event registraton page it is not checked that I have registered. Is this going to be a problem???

No it won't be. Because the farewell dinner is been processed through PayPal and not through the NAM store it won't show up on your event planner.

Looks like I had a code problem in processing the username strings. You were being listed as "Big". I believe I have this corrected and you have just your registration per what you ordered through the store.

Thanks!

Schedule Anyone

Hi,

I'm a first timer with MOTD. Everything sounds like so much fun that I want to do it all. However, without knowing the schedule with times, it makes it difficult to make choices. I'm curious if and when we might receive a schedule of the events complete with dates and times?

Thanks, Lori

Lori - I've updated the event planner to include the starting times of each of the events. You can also find the event start times when clicking through to each of the events. As we are still more than a month out from the event some of the times may change some but will be reflected here on the site and in the printed event guide available in the registration package. We'll also have some print outs of the event times posted at Fontana...likely at the welcome desk in the Rec center.

Hope this helps!

Mark

Click on 2005 MINIs on The Dragon in the top corner of the menu on your screen. This will take you to the main page for the event. Once you get there, in the menu on the top left click on the link for the Event Planner. This will show you when all the activities for the weekend are and what if anything you have registered for (with the exception of the farewell dinner). From here you can also register for various activities...

Remember to participate in any of the drives you need to purchase a Dragon Registration through the NAM store...

Welcome to NAM minircr.

The Dragon is a loosely based organized event. A contradiction of terms but it is just that.

The different drives and diners are not meant to overlap each other but some may. Just read through the events and pick what sounds fun for you. There is no true schedule of events to be posted… Its pot luck so to speak.

The only thing you need to do is have fun.

It is for the person who needs to be led about by the nose.

Here’s the schedule of events I’ve planed. Pop in, have a good time and then go back. WOW what a concept.

Any more info available for the "Dam photo" or the "Dragon parade"? The Event Planner says no one is interested, if I'm to believe that.

There's no sign ups for either, just show up... They will both be Friday morning, the parade will actually leave from the Dam after the photo...

Are there other "do it yourself" drives planned, or just the one listed for Saturday...or, using that short "trip" map you buy at Deal's Gap or scenic drives around the Fontana area?

Jeff, I'm pretty sure that when you pick up your registration kit, there will be a schedule of events in it. There should be plenty of time for free-wheeling drives, and impromptu get-togethers!
