As of today, we have 80 folks signed up to run the dragon at midnight!

Can we break 100 at midnight??? (not 100mph, koolmini. . . we already know you can do that! )

You can expect a fairly significant number of procrastinators to sign up for all events, myself being one of them. Of course, Casper must come out at midnight for a friendly BOO.

Those that do not sign up early enough might not get blue glowing spermies!

I have noticed that there are not cut offs listed on dinners and events, etc. I saw that Clover had listed one for the Welcome Dinner in the thread but not on the event description. Everyone with an activity should give a little thought to that. It is especially important on the dinners.

'Course in the case of the Midnight Run procrastinators could participate but might have to bring their own sperm.

Good point about cut-off dates!

I'll start one for this event:

The cut-off time for those interested in attending Midnight on the Dragon is 11:59pm May 7, 2005!

Nothing like a big dinner washed down with a load of blind twisties in the dark.

Pardon me...I am (fairly) young and naive. I just got my black MCSC 3 weeks ago. Where exactly is this Midnight on the Dragon?

OH! On another note, I may be invisible to some, so keep your lights on. I have a thing called stealth mode.

318 radical turns in 11.8 miles - not your mothers road so to speak and in the dark of midnight.

Just go to www.northamericanmotoring.com/motd-home and you can find out all the details about MINIs on The Dragon. This event is just one of many planned for the MOTD weekend...

Of course you could also click on the MINI's on the Dragon banner near the top of the NAM front page, or the link to 2005 MINIs on the Dragon located in the menu on the left side of the page...

Wicked Moon on this night!

I've put up a couple of links on my site about 2 interesting phenomena that we'll be able to enjoy this night.

1-The Draco Constellation may be visible because:
2- It will be a New Moon on the 8th...yikes! better bring spare bulbs!

Check the Lunar Calendar link and Draco link at

DVLMINI,

I checked out the new Dragon Swag and wished that the Drag-On Inn had been open last year as it seems that I could have greatly benefitted from their "motorist services"

I don't know whether I should feel honored or embarrassed to have been part of your inspiration for this design, but I ordered two of these!

Neat info on Draco! We will have to check it out!

No one has posted here in two days.

I guess other than the 80 plus people signed up this thread has lost all interest.

Odd. . . I noticed that too. I would have thought that posting the neat Drag-On Inn shirt image would have gotten at least one response. . .

I guess people are sick and tired of hearing about my breaks and tires!

I've heard that day-old Dragon Fritters can be used as brake pad material if you get in a pinch.

Wanda will be volunteering her services to OctaneGuy for VacuCam action at Midnight on the Dragon II!

Anyone even contemplating OEM rally lights or after-markets, like PIAAs, get 'em NOW! They are really great for the Midnight Run!
