Might I suggest, leaving the Fontana on Sunday so you can return on Monday morning to teach. I assure you won't miss much on Sunday. AND depending on where you live, you can arrive later on Thursday evening, since the event officially begins with the Welcome Dinner (hosted by our friends of MKO).

Does that help? You will want the Friday off to be at the Fontana by that morning -- and then you can be a part of all the fun.

Hugs,
PB

Oh my I think I just caught a horrible loooooooong term (they're saying January through sometime in May) case of MINIingitis!!!! , everyone knows that that's super contagious towards children....I can't do it to them- I can't !!!!! That would be horrible of me to pass on such a wretched inffection !!!!!!! I'm just gonna have to ask for that Thursday and Friday off and drive back Sunday all day!!! (some nice Carolina air is just the remedy!!!!) Anyone know how long the drive from Orlando, FL is???!?!?!?!!! I'm sure I'll be able to drive up with some of the MOO, BAM, or MOM people!!!

[(MINI's Of Orlando)(Bay Area MINI's)(MINI's Of Miami)]

Now to get a place.......

Alpha-6, The Florida caravan made it up in time for the Welcome dinner on Thursday. I think I saw them pulling in about 4 to 5 PM. I’m not sure what time they took off in the morning, but they were there in time for the party to begin.

You told me it was going to be earler in the year. Did they change the date on you?

If your down here at that time zoom over to my place and then zoom up with Clo, Andrew and I going in the back way across the Dragon to Fontana.

Well, I've made my reservation at Fontana--I guess I'm somewhat committed now. When I get the confirmation in the mail maybe it'll start to sink in.

Owners' Lounge Nut Cabin at Fontana

Several of us who usually hang out in the Owners' Lounge that MINI USA hosts are planning to stay in what we've affectionately termed the "Nut Cabin" at Fontana - a three bedroom that is already hosting many!! For most of us, this will be our first MOTD! We're very excited about the whole thing - the chance to be around so many other MINI folks, the awesome motoring, the partying - not to mention the "camp for grown-ups" atmosphere. Can hardly wait!!

I'm planning to enter the Chili Cook-Off with the most amazing Appalachian Chili you've ever tasted! Any rules/guidelines - quantity to provide, etc?

Is it May yet?? - -
