Yes, the rumours are true, there will be a SWAP TENT at MITM3 this year. Right by the 'check-in' tents, it will have tables and be covered, but open to the public and not attended nor secured. All you do is brilng your good MINI stuff, in good working order (no used ball joints, for example) and drop them off. Items that are placed there must follow some basic guidelines:

1. Item must be marked for what models MINI it fits. For example, if you have a rearview mirror cover that fits MC but not MCS, it must so state. Buyer beware.
2. Item must have a TAG on it (prefer those manila ones, with wire ties) with a detailed description on one side, your contact information on the other side.
3. Items can be placed and removed each day, or left overnight as you see fit. Seller beware.
4. MITM3, MINI5280, its sucessors or assigns take no responsibility in any way for monitoring, supervising, collecting or swapping items. The tent will be unmanned.

We prefer that you announce what you have to swap in this forum in advance.That builds traffic. But if not, just bring it on.
