Just realized I never posted a pic of my new car like I said I would. Crappy cell phone pic, but here it is. Going to give it a nice polish and wax this weekend or next and will take some better pics then.

i don't know man...i still kinda like the chrome accents on your car. if you plasti-dip, you're gonna end up springing for some black wheels too! slippery slope there! =)

I like the chrome with the white roof and silver wheels, not so much with the black obviously since I decided to black mine out. Nice thing with plasti-dip is it is cheap and easy, so you could put a coat of it on, see if you like it, and if not just peel it off. All it would have cost you is abbout $8 and a little bit of time.

In my opinion though, your car looks great the way it is. I just like mine to have the dark look, and the black wheels are great for not having to deal with brake dust as much.

I'm thinking of getting the black trimmed JCW grille to avoid painting my stock one. I am thinking of plasti-dipping the rear trim rings though with the silver full LED lights I saw posted on here [not in Black, not a fan of a completely blacked out car, lol] I am LOVING my stock Bi-Xenons now though after coming from DDM Tuning's 5000k kit on my Impreza. and the Auto-Cornering Feature is the best!

I do really like the chrome and the brushed belt line with the BRG II/White Roof. I get TONS of comments on the color combo. Most of them are its a very classic look.

pheatton - quick ques...where did you get your driving lights and how do you like them? i'm getting a little tired of looking at the yellow tint on mine. those might be the next thing to go.

If your referring to the yellow fogs then I got them from Amazon.

Check out this page in a post when I installed them. They are still going strong.

actually, i was asking about the driving lights. i just read your other post - gonna look for those piaa 194s. i replaced my fogs with the hella labeled version of your nokya bulbs. i would have liked the piaa's but no way i was gonna pay $80-90 for a pair of bulbs.

Picked up my car last night! It's awesome. Hard to keep it below 4K for the break in. I'm going to wait till sunset to take some pics.

Only thing I didn't like was that stock 4 foot antenna...well it looked 4 feet. Dealer had the stubby in stock so I replaced it while they were finishing up paperwork (forgot the $500 off for manual tranny so had to start all over).

Well..the antenna I didn't like and the stock speakers but those will be replace with Polk Audio DB6501 components in the doors and DB691 in the rear driven by Kenwood KA870 amp. Since I got the DSC and DTC, I'm not sure where the amp is going.

gotta love the BRGII representation here, and kudos to navynuke for starting the thread! the numbers have grown quite a bit in just 2.5 months! i'm not sure why this doesn't get mentioned much, but i love the look of 2011s' brake ducts! still waitin' on the occ for the N18 engines so i can install my black alta fmic with a peace of mind.

Just a 2005 MKIV Jetta GLI in metallic grey. It was a nice car right up until it started getting quirky.

I test drove the new GTI twice just to make sure I hated it and I did, both times. It was such a let down going from my GLI.

But in the end I turned up with my dream car

Hehehe...did the same thing. I even tried the A3 TDI...very nice with bit more elbow room but still couldn't get excited about it.
