Can you verify the cradle part number you currently have that DOESN'T work? It looks like the previous post listing the 3 cradle options isn't the right one? I think everyone is trying to sort this out.

I tried the first armrest cradle... 84212158682, no workey... Then tried 84212158683 that was shipped to dealer today, and although artwork and music from the ipod came through to the screen, no connected function was supported. Really glad I tried both at the dealer first before buying. Unless there is a third 3gs cradle that the parts manager doesn't know about I am forced to use the darn cable for now.

Do these two look like they were separated at birth?

Nice, very sharp! We're getting both or MINIs tinted today, so it's nice to get an idea of how it will look.
My MA told me there was an iphone4 adapter in the works for the armrest. Is there already one out there?

I have been trying to get a picture of my new Countryman that shows the color the way I think it looks in person. The brighter the light the "bluer" it looks - the flatter the light the "greener" it looks. I am not really satisfied with these pics (looks closer to the true blue in these) but this is what I have so far. I'll keep trying in different light.

I really like the Surf Blue - hard to describe blue/teal, non-metallic - I did not see the color in person until it arrived, so I was holding my breath the whole time.

Almost forgot - the car is a freakin' blast to drive!

Very nice, SAIL_ATX. The dealership we bought from always seems to have a surf blue on the lot. But always a different one, so obviously it's a color that they have no trouble selling. I keep thinking I'm bound to see one around soon.

This car is so cool! Turned on the club lights, went cruising around last night, windows all down and roof open.. NO BUFFETING! It is remarkably quiet, and we're not talking around the hood, I was on the freeway... so happy!

This one allows full media connection.
P/N 84212199392 - snap in adapter - iPhone 4 media adapter
I have read that this is the cradle with full Connected compatability.

This is the one I have requested for my CM-S for May delivery.
