Dec. 8th I became part of this group. Weather has been nasty here, maybe I'll try and get some pics today, a little nicer today.

 

Just picked it up tonight so I don't have any daylight pictures yet. A little smaller than the Tahoe and Silverado pickup!

 

Here's mine. Need to get more pics as my cell phone makes the car look red...

I was thinking about starting one of these. Glad to see someone else took the initiative.

Mine is a 2011 MCSC. It is winter here in Wisconsin. I've been waiting for a decent day to give her a bath and take some photos. We're expecting -20 chill factor the next few days so it isn't happening soon.

I do have a pretty decent thread going on her sound system upgrade with some photos, mostly of interior guts.

Here's my challenge to the rest of you. Who can come up with the best set of exterior mods in time for Minis on the Dragon in late April 2011. You're planning to be there ... right. We need to do a spice orange parade.

Question: How many spice orange MINIs does it take to make a parade?
Answer: Two, but the more the merrier!

Thanks, yeah I love the black headlight option.

Still haven't had time to take better pics but I just got the JCW black grille and black beltline trim. Slowly going to eliminate most (if not all) of the chrome.

I'll get some pictures this weekend once the grille and trim are installed.

Mine is almost a twin of yours, externally at least. I think about the only difference is I have the chrome mirror caps.

Not looking to do any mods at this time, its my first Mini and am just planning on enjoying it the way it is for a while.

 

I guess new Mini's are coming pre-Joey Moded?

 

Yep, it's a no-cost option. The only down side is you can't get the adaptive headlights with the black housing option. The adaptive headlights are the ones that move to point toward the direction that you're turning. Not a big loss for the type of driving that I do, so I went for the black housings.

I'm due to pick up my SO MCS early Mon. or Tuesday...

I went into to test drive the Countryman and then went into the showroom. Immediately fell in love with a Spice Orange/Black MCS. My '06 Royal Gray was traded in and I drove off in a new '11! Love this car! The color so rocks my world.

 

I'm so glad to see another person with almost the identical car I got, minus the checkered roof. All my family was making fun of me saying I was going through a mid-life crisis, but when I saw the options for black lights, wheels and spice orange I couldn't resist ordering.
