F60 Headlight protectors?
Headlight protectors?
I have installed polyurethane headlight film on my last six vehicles, and three of my wife's (that's over a LONG time...) I first used XPel, then Lamin-X. The XPel might have been more durable, but I found Lamin-X easier to deal with. But, Lamin-X does not have pre-cut kits for the F60. Their recommendation is to get sheets and attach them then cut to shape. This sounds like a way to use up much profanity to me.
XPel has the kits (four, actually, but they can't tell me what the difference is). However, the covers have no warranty if they are owner-installed. Well, I've done these a lot, so I'm likely to do so again, especially since there is no local installer, and the labor would easily double the cost of the protectors. So they're probably a "no."
I've found "Headlight Armor," but the reviews mention poor optical quality and iffy customer service.
Weather Tech has them, but...my comfort with their fit isn't huge.
Anybody got a suggestion?
