F60 2017 Countryman High Beam Wire

2017 Countryman High Beam Wire

I am trying to locate the high beam wire on my 2017 countryman for a driving light install. I have tried using a test light and multimeter to find this wire but it is so difficult getting the probe into the wire connection I have given up. Does anyone know what color the wire is?

Unfortunately, due to the use of CAN bus, it’s not that simple…

Sorry, that diagram is for the LED headlights…

Looks like the halogen lights are slightly easier to figure out:

So I have the LED lights. Does that mean I don’t have a single wire that triggers the high beams to tap into?

From that wiring diagram, looks like everything is controlled inside the headlight control module. Doesn't look to be an easy add...

Any luck on this one? Maybe a micro controller sniffing for the brights on/off signals can be programmed.
