Omac Roof bars?

Anyone have used these crossbars and have opinions on their quality and fitment? Also which roof storage boxes would fit on them? Thank you!

Amazon Amazon

i was thinking of pairing them with this Thule Sidekick box if possible:
Amazon Amazon

I ordered the 170$ OMAC from Amazon. It looked like the box was opened when I got it and the product was scuffed a bit...so I returned.

Anyways, it looked solid and well built. I wasn't a huge fan of having to cut and put the rubber stripping in myself though. But definitely a better deal than $500+ Thule bars. Is this going to be permanently on your roof?

Not permanently. I'll really only use it every once in a while.

I do have a cross country move coming up and looking for cheaper alternatives than the $400 dollar thule bars and the $600 MINI storage box. Need extra space for stroller, bassinet, and some duffel bags of clothes as I'll have my wife, an infant and a husky in the car along with a few things of luggage.

I assume the MINI storage box would fit on the bars in the link?

Yeah I’d think so. I think id only recommend spending on the Thule/Yakima bars if it was going to stay up there. Probably handles wind better, etc
