Is there some place on this site (or somewhere on the internet) that I can go and you recommend to find used parts for my MINI.

I'm looking for a part that's easily obtainable online; I just don't feel like spending 150-200 dollars on it.

Especially since I really just want the button portion on the lower left.

The only places I've bought weird parts like that are eBay; you can try looking on car-part.com but I've often found that it's not very good for weird bits like this.

I just ran a search and there actually were some reasonable options on car-part.com (though none with the full switch you're looking for).
So if I were you I'd bookmark the search page and check on it once a week until you get what you want for a reasonable price.
