I have 4,850 miles on Ricky, Friday night was coming home from work. Have a three mile up mountain run to pull with some tight turns. It is really fun to drive if you have no cars and especially trucks in front of you. At the top there is a 90° left so you are coming up the hill and hit the level off just as you hit the 90° turn. I was hard over into the corner at about 50MPH, with vertical element along with heaving into the corner it often sets off the G sensor on my Mini Eye which beeps and hard records 60 seconds. But this time the security system went off. The light was flashing on the bottom of the mirror and it was blaring the theft warning. I did not know you could Trip that while driving.
There is a Heavy truck pull off for legally required brake check before descending the other side. I was going left to right on the below picture. I pulled in to the check area and had to shut the car off and the unlock and lock with my key fob to get the security system to reset.
For the security system to alarm under those conditions off hand I'd say there's a loose connection.
I encountered a loose connection with a coolant sensor in another car by driving on a particularly rippled road surface on a mountain road turn. Since the story behind this discovery is kind of long I won't make this post any longer by telling it.
But the takeaway is (possibly) a loose connection.
