Hi I have a 2017 and my tailgate is stuck closed. The car is continually beeping as if the tailgate is currently opened. Does anyone know of a manual release to open the trunk?


I have tried:
1. Holding down the release while attempting to open it with more force than usual.
2. Going through the backseat of the vehicle to push from the inside.
3. Inspected the locking mechanism, it appears locked but is still making the beeping noise.
