DIY Updated the Nav Maps

This is probably old news to much of you but I just discovered it. I have the original 2017-1 maps on my 2018 Mini Countryman JCW. Dealer wanted between $350 an $400 to update the maps. I declined. Poked around on the internet and found "BMNavigationupdate" website. I successfully updated my maps to 2021-1 with their kit. I needed the maps, FSC activation code and ENET cable. The whole thing was $150, but in the future, I won't have to buy the cable and activation code, just the map updates ($50). Downloading the maps to a USB was a long process and then installing them on the car took almost 60 minutes, other than the long waits, the process was flawless.
