Removing Shift ****
Can anyone explain how the shift **** is removed? Or rather tell me if this is the correct procedure?
Pull up on the ring around the base of the shifter where the boot is attached. This should unclip? (The ring that you toggle between drive modes). Next detach the boot from the inside top near the ****. I'm guessing it will be a clip that I will cut off? Lastly pull up on the **** with a great deal of force and it should pop off. Yes?
