TPS (Tire Pressure Sensor) Question

I was able to get a very good deal on a brand new set of Perelli tires and OEM MINI wheels which were a takeoff from a 2019 Countryman S F60. Apparently the owner wanted upgraded 19 inch rims and had the OEM wheels and tires taken off at the time of purchase. I’ve since had the new wheels powder coated (red) so I now need to have the tires and TPS units mounted back on the new wheels.

My dealer questioned whether or not the TPS units from the new wheels can be reprogrammed and adapted to my 2019 Countryman S F60 .. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You don't say what your car is. However as far as I know all F series MINIs are using the same TPMS, no reason it won't work. Check realoem.com for TPMS part number cross reference.

I'd be more concerned that they can mount the tires without messing up your powder coating.
