Cargo Cover Standard Equipment

Hello, all! I just leased a 2018 CM. I didn't notice it during the test drive / walkaround, but the car is lacking the rigid cargo cover. Checking the dealer's website, every single CM, both 2018 and 2019, have the rigid cargo cover pictured in the photo gallery accompanying the vehicle.

The cargo cover is also listed as standard equipment on the dealer's page for the CM I leased.

I guess it's possible that it was removed when the detailers prepped the car for delivery. I really don't know whether it was there earlier.

So, is the rigid cargo cover a standard item? If it is, I hope the dealer can ship one to me.

The cargo cover is a $250 option. It is not standard.

Ok how about a cargo net? MINI used to come with cargo nets but not anymore apparently! My F56 JCW didn’t have one but there is one available separately, but not for the Countryman! Anyone have one or know where to get one?

You're thinking about the storage package or flat load floor which is an option, but I think the OP is talking about the removable privacy cover which attaches to the gate to block the view into the cargo area.

Cargo nets are still available for the Countryman and they would latch onto the 4 loops in the trunk area:

I don't think MINI has ever included a net with the CTM and they stopped putting nets in the Hardtops in 2016.

Thanks....that's the SAME Part Number for the F56 Hardtop Cargo Net. I am going to try it but it will need to be stretched to fit as the hoops in the Countryman are farhter apart...it's a nice net though!

I noticed that but since that's what's in MINI's part reference, I can only assume it would fit

I will let you know if it fits....I ordered one today. Fingers crossed!

It fits! You need to stretch it a bit but it fits fine & holds stuff down nicely! I should mention that our Countryman is an R60, but surely the F60 is similar.
