Has anyone tried retrofitting the OEM (or even aftermarket) "Universal Garage Door Opener with Compass" rear view mirror yet? I had one (without the compass) in my last Countryman and the simple prism rear view seems so low-tech now.
Damn but it's expensive at $600 -- a custom build only asks for $250 on top of the $500 "Auto-Dimming & Powerfolding Mirrors" (my old Countryman's folded but didn't dim). I'm afraid that the dealer is going to want another $100 for installation.
