As I mentioned in a separate thread. Ours opened over the weekend while driving! A whole new level or POS. Our son's life jacket fell out on the road and was lost ($100). Unreal... I think the fob is overly sensitive perhaps... somehow got activated in my pocket?? There was no audible warning that the lid was open while we were driving either.

Hi, Can U show where and how the control module connects.I have installed a aftermarket tailgate kit but am not able to install a kick sensor for it.If I were to install the oem kick sensor module with the sensors connected, where would the control module need to connect?.Can U advice?.Is this possible?.

I have a MINI COOPER COUNTRYMAN F60 2018 and my machine did not come with an "automatic power tailgate".I had installed an aftermarket vehicle specific tailgate kit and it works well & as intended.I am now having great difficulty to get a "Foot Activated Kick sensor" to work with my car!.I have tried almost 4 different types of kits and all of them..are not able to function as intended.I double checked all the connections and yet am not able to get the automatic tailgate to swing open when i swipe my foot underneath it!.Does anyone know if MINI has something on the tailgate switch that prevents the "aftermarket foot kick sensors" from working?.Does anyone know if there is a specific aftermarket kick sensor/foot activated kit that can actually serve my purpose?.Please help.
