JCW exhaust

For JCW owners, I keep reading about a bluetooth exhaust, but have not found anything in the manual (granted I have not looked too hard.

Other than switching to sport mode, is there something we are able to do in tuning the exhaust sound via bluetooth?

I think that was for tuning an "S" to a JCW, but there was some sort of fob with a button on it that opened up the exhaust flap, but at least in my '18 JCW, that is controlled automatically with the driving mode switch.

Yes there is a new JCW exh with the bypass flap coming next year. I saw the first pon in the US last week at the SEMA show. When it bypasses it is just strait pipe.

Thanks Way! That is exactly what I am looking for. I hope there is an "upgrade" option and that it will be somewhat reasonable.

Yup, there is definitely a different tone, but it isn't straight piped which is what I was looking/ hoping for!

FYI we just got word today that Remus has released their exhaust for the JCW. Which will be lighter than the JCW, and cheaper so it's going to be a better bargain.

Here are a couple pics I took of the JCW exhaust on the F54 and F60

When I had the Dinan Elite installed on my 2018 F60 S, the head tech at my Mini dealer said there was going to be an option for Bluetooth operation of an exhaust flap coming. So, it sounds like it will be an after market option for non JCWs. Sign me up!

As for the JCW exh these pics were taken of a F60 S they have added the JCW kit to so it will be for non JCW cars.

I need an exhaust for ours. There's no emotion to the engine. Needs some harmonics.
Does AWE tuning do one for the countrman?

Mr.Funk, if I am not mistaken, you were considering the Dinan Elite? If that is the case, you might want to see how you like the engine with that installed. It seems to me that the Elite made the exhaust sing better; a little more “throaty.” I may still end of installing an exhaust mod some day, but I am sure enjoying it as is for now.

Sorry, I am a bit confused by this. I have a JCW. Is there an option for my car?

I hope so, I want to have the straight pipe sound to go with the Elite tuner.
