MITM ~ Whalen Shift Machine!

Just announced....

For the second year in a row, Doug Whalen of Whalen Shift Machine

www.WhalenShiftMachine.com

will be joining you and us at the MITM2 MINIs in the Mountains event at Copper Mountain Colorado. Planned for August 9-12, 2007, this years event anticipates over 300 MINIs and Minis in attendance.

Full details will be posted in this forum and we expect to open registration on or about April 29th this month.

Please stay tuned...Doug will surely post pics of his ultra-fantastic MITM commemorative Shift Machine (yes, I have one mounted on my MINI) for all to see....and of course, there will be the 2007 version as well.

I imagine that Doug will take pre-orders so that you can have yours (installed, of course) the moment you arrive at Copper.

Welcome Back to Doug and Whalen Shift Machine!!!

Jonathan

Doug will post for advance orders

before MITM. You can then have yours in hand (pun intended) the moment he arrives. Takes 12 secs to install....

The hard part is...what to do with the OLD one? All of a sudden, I found mine of no value....

Hey, I posted "have you seen these" because I was looking at MITM and whining to myself that I can't attend (I have an important art show in Santa Fe that weekend). I REALLY want to do the event. I grew up in Denver. Now live in Madison, WI - not for the climate. I so want to go!! Anyway, my new Whalen is supposed to be here very soon (maybe tomorrow). Since he's only about 80 miles away from Madison I think I'll just go for a drive at some point to meet him. I can't wait for my new ****!

Think of the amazing "art" show that is available to you in Colorado at MITM....Sante Fe or Colorado, Sante Fe or Colorado - decisions, decisions....I think you should come to Colorado!

Any word on the pre-orders? MITMs is going to be the maiden voyage of my wifes 07 MCS, and she wants to commemorate it with a MITMs Whalen Shift Machine.

I know she wants the 2007 version of the MITM shift machine, and I believe she wants it brushed and polished.

I have a Whalen shift machine on my MINI, and she totally loves it, so she has to have one.

I believe this is what she wants, except the 2007 version

WHO wants a knobber?

Because I have two beautiful, commemorative, MITM2 Whalen Shift Machines courtesy of Doug Whalen as well. Both were donated to the event and to the community, and both will be drawn for at the Saturday night dinner.

Two lucky MITM2 attendees will EACH win these Shift Machines, and we will happily install them for you right on the premises.

Come see the REST of the collection I know that Doug is bringing with him, as he did last year. You will be impressed as I was.

And, if you want something truly special, there still may be time to manufacture one. Contact Doug at

www.WhalenShiftMachine.com and get your order in. He may still be able to make personal delivery.

Wow that **** is really hot! Woohoo I get to finally meet Doug Whalen. Woohoo! I think? I mean is he just donating ***** or is he actually attending?

I had my Cooper Whalen Shift **** sitting on my desk for a couple months, thinking that it wouldn't make sense to put it on my MCS with a different shift pattern and all, then realized that I never looked at it anyways! Took it off my desk, stuck it in the MCS then realized how much I loved my Whalen!

I'll be there sometime around noon on Thursday. Gotta leave Saturday afternoon; but I'll be peddling my wares till then.

Don't get too excited with anticipation, though.
I'm just a simple, middle-aged, workaholic, machinist from "flyover country"; probably not one of your "most unforgettable characters".

Heck, I don't even drive a MINI; how cool can I be???

Well, they must have all gotten the wrong number, because nobody ever called; except to order a stinking shift ****.

I don't care what you drive, I think between your workmanship, and your customer service, YOU BE DA MAN!!!!!

If a spare MITM2 **** happens to roll my way....you would be even cooler!!!

In all seriousness though, you are so cool, you have reached so many cool MINIs out there, and made them even cooler. That's pretty darn cool

I look at the pic of my Yin Yang **** at least once every 4 hours, can't wait to see it in person!!! I love the fact that I will have designer ***** to suit my mood, the #10, #2, and the Yin Yang...and a MITM2 that might just happen to land in my car, haha
