Update seems like the guys over at Strut Monkey can get this ordered with some level of confidence.
Both ECS Tuning and Out Motoring after speaking with them on the phone didn't have much faith the part would get here or might not be available any longer.
Oh Bilstein, they have been on backorder for about a year and they keep giving etas and just pushing them back another month each time we check so I wouldn't hold your breath as getting something else will be much quicker.
Demand has really shot up for Bilstein in general and the less popular system have been delayed. Now if you have a ford mustang or something similar you are front of the line.
Checking with them again. I even looked at the stock on the singles and its that right rear HD shock that is delayed at Bilstein HQ Germany but is in stock at other places(old stock). So that might be the culprit for the full kit.
BC racing are in stock and nice. That way you can lower even more if you like. Dampen the rears super soft and that improves the ride quality. On MINIs the wheel base front to rear is so short that the rears when softened makes a huge difference in ride quality.
I only want the best!!!! :P German made for German RACE CAR!!!
Any recommendations for ride quality?
For ride quality and lowering I would use the KWs as we've installed many sets of them and by far the ride quality has been the best on the R60 out of the lowering options.
And they are German made. https://www.waymotorworks.com/kw-var...ountryman.html
