No, 10 different people will give you 20 or so answers as we will have more than one tire in mind for each occasion.

What kind of driving do you do, what seasons are they for? Are you after noise reduction, performance, etc. Go look at Tire Rack website for reviews.

Best advice is find a tire retailer who will let you try a set. Oddly some do this, though I'm not sure what they do with returns?

When you say your tires are "choppy" and wearing unevenly, it makes me think the tread is scalloped; so do yourself a favor and get an alignment... Otherwise, you'll ruin your new tires quickly.

Best tires would depend on the driver, year round climate and road conditions. Tire rack has great test info for different types of tires. Just take some time and do some research.

Everyone has an opinion… Doesn’t answer the question.

I run the Michelin super sport. Sticky enough, and have a good amount of life per tire.

Recently had General AS-05 tires installed. Very happy, great ride, low noise, great grip, no comment on rain or snow yet.

I had round black rubber ones installed. They roll nicely on the open road.
