And seriously...what's the deal with where the filter is placed? That can't be easy even for their techs, right? If I'm missing something and you guys have a way easier method of getting that bugger out, let me know.

Hey Brandon,

Very cool video! I like the creative editing, music, and sense of humor.

PS - Clean your floor mats and degrease your engine bay!! TIP: I use Murphy's Oil Soap for the engine bay. I know it may sound weird because it is a floor cleaner, but it is all natural, so its extremely mild and safe on ALL materials!! Just put a big goop of it in a spray bottle and fill the rest up with water, give it a shake, and spray the entire engine bay down thoroughly. Let it sit for a few minutes, and then you can give it a good rinse away with a hose. It leaves everything super clean, without scrubbing, and with zero residues!

Drive Safe & Drive Often. Rubber Side Down. Over & Out.

PS - The soap leaves an awesome smell in your engine bay that lingers a little bit, especially when the car is warmed up. A nice final touch after a thorough detail. LOL

Is the filter in the same location on a R56-S?

This is great. I love the thumbs up action. Some good info. After I put the drain plug back in I spray the pan/area with some brake cleaner to make sure there isn't any oil residue anywhere.

I leave the coolant tank “out” so I can make sure after a start up that the filter housing is not leaking.

Nice job!
