Cheap solution for Backup Camera

I finished installing a backup camera in my 2016 Countryman S ALL4. It took a couple of hours and all components were purchased for less than $50. For anyone interested, I have attached a write up .

Nice install and write up. I have too many other projects so I'll probably never get to this one, but it is a bargain.

Nice write-up! Especially the wiring diagrams. I would be a little cautious of running the wires over the sheet metal edge under the rubber weather seal. They might be sharp and wear through the wires' insulation over time. Probably simple to prevent with some electrical tape over the metal edge.

Well done, wish MINI had a factory one integrated, the only other one is a European MINI advanced Eye camera.

Here is the link for the mount - I used the "W" mount for this application, with an XXL Clamshell mounting arm.
