ODBII Reader for iPhone/Macbook

Hi guys/gals,

Searched the forums and couldn't find the answer I need.

Does anyone know of an ODBII reader that will work with an iphone 6 AND a Macbook Pro? The ones I see on Amazon and eBay work with iPhone and Windows. Have't yet seen one for Mac.

I'm wanting to do some custom "newbie" programming changes, not just reading.

Any ideas?

Thanks a bunch!
Lis

I am no longer a CMS owner anymore but will like to get back into one when the newer CM is out, having very bad experience with my CM. But yours is a 2016 so everything is good, mine was a first year, was in the shop for so many time, even replacing a transfer case. Carly is the best DIY coding apps for dummy like me...congrats with your CMS. I am really miss the German driving experience at least I still have my X5 lol

I hope mine stays out of the shop. I can't afford all the little things that I hear go wrong with MINIs. But I knew what I was getting myself into when I purchased him . My love for MINI took over my common sense.

All in all, I LOVE my CMS! Wouldn't have it any other way. I"m going to have a blast programming things. :-)

Good luck with your future CM!!!

Carly for BMW

I've been using the carly app with the wifi adapter for about 2 weeks and still finding new coding to try out. It's awesome! It also does a lot more than just coding. I'm thinking this is a MUST HAVE. The only issue at all was the start up price, but it's not bad for what you get and can do. App updates are also possible in the future....

I have the I Carly or whatever the current title is on m iPhone and iPad works well on both, use the WIfI adaptor with not problem little pricey to start but no problems. I would imagine it would work on other Apple products like the Macbook.
