Tapping Acc power for gauges

Hi all!
I'm hoping to get some answers on how to or where to tap 12v acc for my boost gauges. I was reading on another group that power can be tapped from a cigarette lighter and running a add-a-fuse kit. Is there another way to do this that's closer to the steering wheel/radio area? Thanks in advance!
Oh and I have a Royal grey r60 CMS.

I'm about to do the same in my R55, I'm more concerned with finding the input for the light change , as in goes amber with lights on. I read the DCS grey wire but why the DSC module ? WOuld seem there is a better place than that.

DO NOT USE ANY MODULE WIRING HARNESS to tap power from. Even if it's only an "on" signal for the relay. That's just asking for diagnosis problems, should that module or anything in that harness take a dump. Using the cig lighter is the best option, as you were thinking. Sure, you have to use a little extra wiring and hide it behind the dash, but it's well worth the quality work in the end.

So here's the update: I ended up tapping power on the cigarette lighter and my gauges now work. I have a set of digital CANBUS connected gauges (AeroForce) and thought it would've been an easy setup, but guess not.
