R60 2011 Countryman Electrical problem
2011 Countryman Electrical problem
Electrical Problem, windows, headlights, interior lighting Help! I took my car to an independent mechanic to change out the clutch and now I'm having electrical problems. He tried clearing it all with his handy little plug in computer thingy but windows won't go up, headlights won't go off, my dash lights won't go on, my turn signals don't work, and my interior lighting doesn't work. My mechanic checked the fuses and everything seems to be fine.
I have searched all the forums here and I've already tried resetting the windows by holding them in the up position, I checked my Mini Connect system and that doesn't work. My Nav has never worked and now this. Yeesh!
Any suggestions??

Keep an eye on your windows, both of my minis that sufferered a low battery, have had the windows and moon roof open slowly overnight, not a good time if it rains. Always had enough to start, no warning light, so it always came as a surprise if a battery prematurely lost charge.
Did you load test the battery and have tested for voltage ?
