I have the oem roof rack on my CMS.
Does anyone know if the oem touring cycle holder supports 29er bikes?

Also, has anyone installed a Thule Sidearm with the OEM roof rack?
I have a 17" Specialized 29er.

I have the OEM bars and also 2 Thule sidearms mounted. We carry 2 different brands of 29ers with no issues.

 

OEM racks, Rocky Mountain pitchfork, 29er...works! (You need the Euro Pitch fork)

 

I also have a Spesh 29er. I've got the OEM bars and a Rockymounts Europitchfork. If you have a thru axel, you will also need a DriveShaft adapter. I'm very happy with the setup, but if the Brass knuckles were available when I set mine up, I might have gone with that. Run a 1Up rack with the Cooper Crap 2" hitch mount. Love it. Have the Mini OE roof rack, but prefer this instead. Cleaner, no wind noise, etc.

 

i have 1up too. how far can u insert the rack to the hitch? i know the ball must be inserted at least think 2". do u think cooper crap can handle 3 bikes? it will stick out 36" from the top of the hitch. thanks

 

Thule here and works great with my 29er, factory bars.

 

I just installed Mini's Tour roof mount bike rack. Works great for my 29er. Taller than snot but works well.
