Adding fogs to a Base CM

So, what all is involved if i wanted to add a pair of fog/driving lights to my base CM? Note i'm in Canada so daytime running lights are necessary. I'm assuming first off it may be best to go with LED's but the work involved is no where near as simple as my Civic was. I'm more interested in the process though at this point.

I dont. If the harness was there i would assume it would be fairly easy but i also understand coding changes would need to be made. That's the type of info i'm looking for.

Super easy. Get burger running in the Kelvin you want. Plug and play and NO error codes. I did mine a week ago
HID on the driver side

I thought maybe it was phone autocorrect, but I guess not. I've never seen someone use Kelvin like that. Do you set your thermostat for the Fahrenheit you want?

I'm more interested in the process than what lights to buy at this point.

It's plug and play, super easy. The biggest issue is a kit that doesn't give errors or blink. YouTube I the install.

Oh my, heresy...lol. j/k the GP2 is a super and limited version of the JCW hardtop R56.

I'm assuming that you don't currently have fog lights right? There are just blank plugs currently installed?

So if the wiring harness is not there it will be a PITA.

Remove the lower round access panel inside the wheel well and look to see if the harness is present - it will be a few wires with connectors. This will take all of a few minutes to do. If it is present than that part of the installation is simple. Next you will need to add the fog light switch to your panel and then you will need to recode the proper modules.

Ok that will make it easy. This would be very similar to adding the rear fog light.

You'll have to get the switch for the console (not sure what the CM dash looks like) and possibly the trim piece.

Then you may have to do some coding with NCS Expert which is not to difficult. You may have to add the fog light option to your vehicle order to make the switch work.

Non-OEM lights like the ones from Burger may or may not be easier.

Sorry for all the "mays" but I believe that this would be the general process.
