Question Cigarette lighter broken

I believe my son blew a fuse when a penny fell into the cigarette lighter because his charger won't work now. Where is the fuse box on a 2011 MC countryman and can I change a fuse without having to take it to the dealership. We live a hours drive from the dealership and its about impossible to get time to get it there with his college schedule and job.
Thanks for any help!

Check the right side of the passenger kick panel, in front of the door. There should be a panel you can pop off. There is also a fuse box in the engine bay, but it probably doesnt have the cig lighter fuse in it. The fuse symbol is a - and a + with a circle like thing in the middle

Personally...
As s Dad, I'd tell him to find the fuse and fix it....
If he is in school....he should be able to figure it out....gotta let THEM deal with stuff once they have flown the coup....
Then again... A helicopter parent....I am not. Gotta let them experience life...he broke it...let him find a way to fix it....and if he paid $200 to a dealer and took a day off from school to get it fixed...just might sell the car and get him a Hyundai.... Tech him about priorities in life...
