If you're taking 95 in, fog has been a bit heavy lately in the morning hours. Traffic backs up quick as its a main trucking route. Have a safe trip.

Just a thought...

You might want to consider avoiding I-95 in CT, RI & MA. Our favorite route is to get to I-684 in NY, head north to I-84 which will take you all the way to Sturbridge, MA. Then the Mass Pike into Boston.

Mapping services will show the I-95 route to be faster, but once you add the traffic factor (especially the trucks!) it isn't really and you'll feel like you have driven twice the distance! The 684/84/90 route is more relaxing with fewer trucks and beautiful scenery. You can also take the Taconic Parkway (classic 1950's motoring road and...no trucks!) north to I-90 by Albany then make a bee-line east to Boston.

Yup, did the 84/90 into Boston. We're here now, back to the burgh in a few days. Thanks for the info.

Stayed with traffic which was about 80 all the way. Go slower and get run over... I never go slower....

And the turbo is a wonderful thing... WONDERFUL thing

The NON-RF tires were a blessing. Last trip was the new CM with original RF tires, came off as soon as I got back. This time....very nice.

As for comfort, its no Maxima for comfort but with one tip from this site, lowered the headrest a bit more, made a huge difference.
I may change something about the seat, or even the seat, in the future.
But its not too bad...

Ok, now back to the city.....

Got back to Pittsburgh yesterday. Second trip to Boston for this mini.
This time, no run flats and WOW was that a nice difference.

Didn't keep my foot out of it the entire trip...
80+ mph was the norm..just staying with traffic...and of course
had to do some passing...

Interesting thing, the car got way more smooth as the trip went one.
Clutch got smoother, the drive, the handling...
I guess the short trips to and from work just didn't cut it.
Yeah, became one with the car lol

Only saw one state boy on the run and he could had pulled me.
Was almost 90 when I flew by.... Maybe he had a place in his heart for mini's

For those of you took the RF tires out and changed to regular. No spare tire in the car at all? What would you do if you have a flat tire?

I use non-RFT tires in the winter. I have a Slime Spair kit and AAA membership. I'm ditching the RFTs when the OEMs wear out.

I carry a small compressor and a plug kit. Others carry a compressor and green slime.
