Arrow Waiting on your Countryman

Thought I'd start a new thread for those waiting on a Countryman to be delivered! I'm relatively new around here, but have been engaged these past several days as I await the arrival of my new ALL4 hopefully before the end of this month.

I ordered a 2013 Blazing Red Countryman S ALL4. I couldn't decide up until the last minute which color roof/mirrors to go with, but I finally chose red to be different. Also went with rear bucket seats with split rail, cold weather pkg, technology pkg, premium pkg #1, xenon headlamps, and MINI Connected w/o nav. Now all I have to decide on is new custom plates and what tinting to get.

Ordered 4/13
Scheduled for Production 4/16
Estimated Completion 4/23
Released to a carrier and awaiting transportation to the port of exit 4/24
Arrived at the port 4/26

I haven't seen any tracking info on WW, so I'm hoping it made it on K-line's Michigan Highway earlier this week. Mine should be delivered to Baltimore, MD and then trucked to my dealership outside of Cleveland, OH.

Almost here!

I ordered the All-4, manual, Sunroof, Blazing Red w/black roof, split rail, Arthracite Headliner, flat load, pure red leather/cloth seats, pure red color line, rear bucket seats, black headlamps, chrome line interior and exterior, arm rest, cold weather package, premium#1, sport w/18" 5-star double spoke jet black, tech pkg w/Connected, door opener, auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors and flat load floor.

Order: 3/18
Scheduled week 14.
Finished production: 4/3
On California Highway: 4/19
US: 5/3
Scheduled to be at dealer (Ferman in Tampa): 5/8

Going to be picking up 5/11 providing tinting can be done, which it should be.

After picking up I will be putting on my Thule Aero bars, mud flaps front and back, front/side/rear black stripes and a stubby antenna. Using my Mini Card Mini-Moolah for all but the bars. The check for the dealer arrived yesterday. Was wondering if it would get here in time.

Can't wait! Seems like I ordered forever ago.

My status both on ask mini and in the owners lounge moved to En-Route today. I am not on WWL tracking so I may have made the Michigan Highway the other day. The Tambora was loading today and I don't think they update that real time.

Can't wait.

I to am waiting on a Countryman.
I ordered it on 03/30 and it is scheduled to arrive in the port in Georgia today.
It's been a long wait, but I am just about on the final leg of the journey.

You can see the details of my Mini and the timeline in my signature.

Ordered 4/20 at Spring Cleaning Event. Currently awaiting transport 5/8. Hoping for delivery before 7/1. I have to get the baby seat mounted before arrival around 7/26. Big changes, little Mini Cooper S to big Mini Cooper Countryman S for arriving little guy. We've been planning both changes for a long time.

2013 R60 S, Oxford Green/Black, SS+, Sport and Premium 2 Packages, Interior Chrome, Polar Beige Color Line and Leather Seats, rear bench seat, Piano Black dash and panel, black headlamp, boot and bonnet stripes, and driving lamps, anthracite headliner wheels, Harmann-Kardon, Mini Connected w/Nav

After delivery mud flaps, rear bumper guard, clear bra, boot stripes, and rear bike rack.

I'm still debating about window tinting and Thule Aerobars or OEM roof rack. I want a cargo box and room for 2 bikes up top to carry 4 bikes total. I'd rather have a black cargo box like the Yakima Skybox 12 or Thule Force Alpine to be black like roof. I'd also rather have bike racks with front wheel still on, but that may be asking a bit much on the limited width of the OEM rack.

Where have others seen the Countryman shipping from when going to California?

My ship, the Torino, left Bremerhaven on the 6th of April and was scheduled to arrive Port Hueneme on the 1st of May. (and I had the fastest production lag ever: my car went into production within hours of order placement)
There was some delay in and around the Panama Canal, so the schedule slipped to the 5th, but they caught up by a day ont he way up the Mexican coast. It arrived in Ventura on the 4th of May. It's either on a truck or at my dealer now.

I'm applying aftermarket stripes when I pick the car up, and I have an OEM rack and OEM bike trays ready to go. My roof rack has been plastidipped, and I'm debating plastidipping the bike trays themselves. My first stop after dealership will be the tint shop.

Sounds like a very similar setup to what you talked about...the MINI OEM bike trays I used are wheel on, downtube clamping.

The plastidipping sounds interesting. I hadn't considered that. I guess the difference in the setup I want to try is with a roof box and bike racks.

There are some bike rack / cargo box combo modules out there but I thought they looked cheesy. Additionally I questioned their potential
Interference with a sunroof. You could just use the typical Thule box and mount it in the center with bikes on outside.

So excited my Countryman finally made it on a ship! And although it was loaded on last week, the tracking info just started showing up on WWL's website today! It's funny because it says it departed 5/9, and the tracking details say it was received at the terminal 5/13. And my status on the OL changed to En Route yesterday.

04/13/13 Ordered
04/16/13 Scheduled for production
04/23/13 Estimated completion
04/24/13 Released from the production facility
04/26/13 Arrived at the port of exit (Bremerhaven)
05/09/13 Departed on WWL's Tamesis
05/12/13 OL status changed to En Route
05/13/13 Tracking info appeared on WWL's website
05/19/13 Estimated arrival in Baltimore, MD

Just curious - when you Plastidipped your roof rack did you spray, brush or actually dip the parts?

It wasn't my plastidippery. The crossbars were purchased from another NAM member who was exiting the game. I wouldn't recommend it. The stuff scraped right off while I was mounting the bike trays and even more when doing the fairing.
