I have CM All 4 Manual Transmission with Keyless entry/Alarm...

Is there a way to program Door Unlock so that upon parking - all doors unlock automatically

I now have to manually flip the door unlock switch in the Center Stack or hit unlock button on the Key Fob in order to unlock all doors and the boot

Way annoying that after parking and exiting driver's seat, rear doors and boot are still locked

I believe you can program it to do that with NCSexpert, but it requires tinkering with your car's software. I don't know how comfortable you are with that, but there are a handful of threads on NAM about it.

With it enabled, I think it unlocks when you pull the fob out of the dash, which means you would have to put the key in every time you start it. I don't know if you're already doing that or if you have Comfort Access.

I'm planning on programming the auto-unlock when I get around to setting up NCS Expert. In the meantime, I just set up the door locks to not lock automatically.

Yes, NCSExpert is the way to do it. There's a bit of a learning curve and an investment in a cable. However, I STRONGLY suggest using NCSExpert with care -- if you're not paying attention, you can code a module with the wrong settings and brick your MINI. Best thing to do is learn how to default the modules first, then learn how to make changes.

While you're coding the auto-unlock, you should think about the following:

- one-touch sunroof open/close
- turn off key gong
- turn off window up auto stop when door opened
- key fob auto lock/unlock
- weather radio
- auto arm photon torpedos

If you'd rather not get into NCSExpert programming yourself, you can look through the NCSExpert Directory to see if there is someone close to you who can do the job. Generally, folks are glad to help and many work for beer!

Especially if you have kids young enough in the back to need the child locks on and have to open their door every time you exit the vehicle. I bought the cable and such to program the car for this feature alone. Really bad mistake by Mini not to have this easily programmed from the cars interface.

If you are planning on getting started with NCSExpert, make sure the cable you buy will work with the R60. See THIS post post for important information BEFORE you purchase a cable.
